Diary entry 17.01.11

Before I began working on my sleeve I started working on my 4 ruffles of my shirt collar. As I was making quite a simple shirt I planned to spend a lot of my time focusing on the ruffle collar. I created at least 20 ruffles over the toile period of creating my shirt. I began by making four asymmetric simple ruffles. I have never made ruffles before so learning how to create the right size ruffles and the correct ruffling proved quite difficult to begin with which mainly meant playing around a lot with ruffle pattern pieces in order to get the correct sizes.
