Diary entry 01.02.11 CAAD session

 We began our first week of CAAD which involved looking over Adobe illustrator, Digital illustration and presentation of concepts and the Importance of CAAD in 21st century fashion industry. We looked at why CAAD skills are needed within the fashion industry which gave me an idea of why we need to study it. I have never really done anything to do with CAAD before. I had studied a bit about the reasons for doing CAAD during my levels but had never done anything practical with it. I like the idea of CAAD as I am not particularly great at drawing and think it will bring my creative side out very well when I get the hang of using the program. I also downloaded the trial of the program so I could begin practicing. I had a turn on it and just played around with the different tools to try and get the hang of it.
